IPTV Pro takes intellectual property seriously, and we expect everyone using the service to do the same.
If you hold or manage the rights in material you believe is reachable through IPTV Pro without permission, this page tells you how to report it. Every report is read, and those that are properly made and supported are acted on.
You can use either of two procedures: the South African one in section 2, or the United States DMCA one in section 3. We accept both.
In South Africa, take-down notifications are governed by section 77 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002. A notification must be in writing and must contain the following:
(a) the full name and address of the person making the notification;
(b) that person's written or electronic signature;
(c) identification of the right said to be infringed;
(d) identification of the material or activity said to infringe, and enough information for us to find it — which, on a service like this one, means the precise channel, stream or title rather than a general description;
(e) the remedial action you are asking us to take;
(f) telephone and email contact details;
(g) a statement that you are acting in good faith; and
(h) a statement that, to your knowledge, the information in the notification is true and correct.
If you prefer the US procedure, a notice under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3), should set out:
(a) a physical or electronic signature of the rights owner or of someone authorised to act for them;
(b) identification of the copyrighted work concerned — a representative list is acceptable where one notice covers several works;
(c) the specific material you want taken down, described closely enough for us to locate it, such as the channel, stream or title;
(d) your name, postal address, telephone number and email address;
(e) a statement of your good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the owner, its agent or the law; and
(f) a statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are authorised to act.

Please do not send legal notices through our WhatsApp support line. The support team is not set up to handle them, and it will only slow your notice down.
We review each notice on receipt. Where it is complete and well founded and the identified material is within our reach, we act promptly to remove it or block access to it.
Where the account or party concerned can reasonably be identified, we let them know and send them a copy of the notice so they have the chance to respond.
If a notice is missing something, or the details given do not allow us to find the material, we write back to say exactly what is needed.
If material of yours was taken down and you believe it was removed in error or confused with something else, you are entitled to challenge the decision.
Under South African law, section 77 sets no fixed format for a response. Write to the same address explaining why the take-down was wrong, and we will weigh it properly.
Under the DMCA, a counter-notice under 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3) needs: (a) your signature; (b) identification of the material removed and where it appeared before; (c) a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe in good faith it was removed by mistake or misidentification; and (d) your name, address and telephone number, with your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address — or, if you are outside the United States, any judicial district in which we may be found.
We may forward your challenge to the person who made the original notice, which may lead to a dispute between the two of you about the material.
Where it is appropriate, we close the accounts of subscribers who infringe others' rights more than once.
Recording, retransmitting, sharing or redistributing anything from the service is also a breach of our terms and conditions, and can lead to suspension or closure without a refund.
A notice has consequences, so please send one only when you are sure of your ground.
Under section 77(2) of the ECT Act, anyone who lodges a notification of unlawful activity knowing it to be materially false is liable for the damages that wrongful take-down causes.
Under the DMCA, 17 U.S.C. § 512(f) makes anyone who knowingly and materially misrepresents that material is infringing liable for resulting damages, including costs and attorneys' fees.
If you are unsure whether you own the rights or can act for the owner, get legal advice first.
Content reaching subscribers through IPTV Pro is supplied to us by upstream providers. A valid notice about such material is actioned on our side and then raised with whichever provider supplied it.
This procedure covers material available through IPTV Pro only. Apps, websites, app stores and devices made by other companies belong to separate businesses, each with its own reporting process.
Notices and challenges: contact@iptv-pro.co.za.
Everything else goes through our contact page. These reporting rules sit within our terms and conditions.
